New “Inclusive Gallery” call
The Inclusive Gallery project continues. Unlike the previous call, this year we decided to turn exclusively to digital accessible art and give a chance to students of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
We invite students and their associates to propose a work of art that will be realized in digital format and which, according to its technical characteristics, can be set up and be permanently available to the public on the website inkluzivnagalerija.rs. A digital work of art, in addition to its artistic values, should contain elements of accessibility for the entire audience (people with sensory impairments – impaired vision or hearing, people with learning difficulties and communication difficulties). Recommendations and instructions are attached to the call.
Inclusive gallery – Announcement of the 2019 competition
The competition lasts until December 15th 2019, and individuals or groups of students can apply. The works, which should be sent to the address – inkluzivnagalerija@gmail.com, will first be reviewed by the Accessibility Commission, which is composed of the employees of “Milan Petrović” School. They will assess whether the ideas received are in line with the principles of accessibility. Selected, accessible works will be evaluated by this year’s jury, which consists of last year’s winners of the “Inclusive Gallery” Competition – Milica Dukić, Dragana Kuprešanin and Konstantin Đuričković.
Two best ideas will be awarded with 80,000 dinars in gross amount, which will be paid to the awarded participants as royalties. The ideas need to be realized by April 2020, and the awarded works will be posted on this portal after that date.
